I do
in fact
know, that
the Almighty
who exhaled me
with a mighty sigh
a long long time ago –
longer than I do care to
have anyone know – will
one of these dull lingering
days just inhale me back…
And I shall vanish in His
never-ending vastness,
unfettered and free
of this silly contest
of question and
answer of day
and night
of you
and
me
